This project involved extending an existing residential property to create additional living space while maintaining architectural harmony with the original structure. The client required a modern, open-plan living area that connected seamlessly to the garden while respecting the character of the existing home.

The site had constraints including party wall considerations, daylight requirements for neighbouring properties, and a conservation area context that demanded careful material and massing decisions.
Solution
Our team developed a modern extension design that integrated seamlessly with the existing structure. We optimised layout efficiency and ensured compliance with all regulations. The design introduced full-height glazing to the rear, a flat-roof profile to reduce visual impact, and carefully selected facing materials to complement the original brickwork.
